Where did you grow up? How has that experience shaped who you are now?
I grew up in the small town of Buckhannon, West Virginia. I think that small-town environment shaped me in many ways—particularly in my understanding of and desire for authentic community. 

What's one thing that people are usually surprised to discover about you?
I am naturally more introverted than extraverted.

What is your dream vacation?
Our family loves to get away for long weekends to Estes Park, Colorado. Our ideal vacation involves a National Park with amazing scenary and lots of wild animals.

Morning person or night person?
Definitely a morning person—after a cup of French pressed coffee
