What is SROM?

Solid Rock Outdoor Ministry is a premier Christ centered wilderness adventure and outdoor education ministry.  We strive to establish God’s Kingdom in the hearts and lives of individuals through wilderness experiences.  The mission of SROM is to change lives by: leading persons to a knowledge of Jesus Christ through the outdoors, creating a divine –human encounter, and equipping, refocusing and renewing individuals through God’s creation and the Holy Spirit.  The core values of SROM are spiritual transformation, leadership development, character formation and skills acquisition.  For 26 years, SROM has provided high quality wilderness programming with backpacking, technical rock climbing and mountaineering experiences in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.  Trips range in length from one to 40 days.  

SROM's Experience with FLI 

 In my experience working with FLI it is clear the ministry and those who serve on staff are deeply committed to Christ and training young adults to be competent leaders who are wise in Christian worldview apologetics.  The staff at FLI is of the highest caliber and  integrity.  The curriculum and learning objectives at FLI are excellent and biblical.  There is a great need to train, educate and equip Christ centered leaders who are able to influence others and articulate the validity of the Bible and the claims of a Christian worldview.  FLI is fulfilling this need in a environment that is challenging, stimulating and rewarding for young adults. - Andrew Arnold, Executive Director of SROM (Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries)
