Who is qualified to attend FLI?

 

  • Students must have completed a minimum of 45 semester hours (67 quarter hours) of undergraduate work prior to attending the Focus Leadership Institute. The Institute is designed primarily for juniors and seniors in college.

  • Students must be 26 years old or younger upon arrival at the Institute. 

  • Married students may not attend the Institute, either singly or together.

  • Students who are the primary caretakers for their children may not attend the Institute. 

  • International students must have both oral and written proficiency in the English language. Students living in countries with a Focus on the Family Associate Office may be required to work through that office as they are considered for acceptance at FLI

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 is recommended but not required. Students with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or less will not be considered for admission.
